'SOMETIMES IN APRIL' (2005). FLYER, by Judy Wanjiku Wanderi

Sometimes in April, 1994. The smell of burning human flesh fills the air. Neighbour turns against neighbour. Friend against friend. Brother against brother. What has been boiling from underneath like a volcano is about to erupt into the most horrific genocide of our modern history. Hutu nationalists take onto killing, raping and maiming their Tutsi countrymen a.k.a 'the cockroaches'. The African state of Rwanda is on fire: over the next 100 days 800,000 people people will be dead.

One man is caught on the wrong side of the war. Whom shall he save? His family? His friends? His foe? Or himself? He was just an ordinary man, faced by an extraordinary situation.

Come watch Sometimes in April, an incredibly powerful and breathtaking film that will show you the ugly head of genocide through the eyes of an ordinary man! If you have watched Hotel Rwanda or are interested in learning more on the Rwandan genocide, then this is the film for you!
